  • Transaction metadata provided by our payment processor (we do not store full card numbers)

Reference URL extraction data:

  • When you provide a URL, automated extraction may capture visible page data such as title, description, brand, category, product details, images, and other publicly available page content

Technical and usage data:

  • Server and diagnostic logs, including user IDs, route/action metadata, timestamps, error context, and request metadata

3. Sources of Information

  • Directly from you (for example, account sign-in, uploads, prompts, and URLs)
  • Automatically from your use of the Service (for example, logs and request metadata)
  • From service providers that support account authentication and infrastructure

  • Provide and operate the Service, including account sign-in and project management
  • Process prompts and generate AI outputs
  • Process and analyze reference URLs you submit
  • Store, render, and deliver project assets and exports
  • Process subscriptions, payments, refunds, and account billing support

  • Debug errors, maintain reliability, and improve core functionality
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

  • Authentication and identity providers: account sign-in and identity verification
  • AI processing providers: prompt and context processing for generation features
  • Cloud storage and delivery providers: storage and delivery of uploaded and generated media
  • Automation and extraction providers: browser automation used to visit and extract data from reference URLs
  • Database and infrastructure providers: project/template storage and platform hosting
  • Payment processors: subscription checkout, billing portal, and payment operations

We may also disclose information:

  • To comply with law, lawful requests, or legal process
  • To protect rights, safety, and security of users, us, or third parties
  • As part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset transaction

6. Storage, Access, and Security

  • Structured project data is stored in managed database infrastructure
  • Media files are stored in cloud object storage and delivered through CDN endpoints
  • Uploaded clips, generated previews, or exported media may be delivered from direct URLs and may be accessible to anyone who has the URL. Treat uploaded media as potentially shareable by link and do not upload highly sensitive content unless this model meets your requirements
  • Server logs may contain user identifiers and operational metadata for debugging and security
  • We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed for the risk profile of the Service, but no security measure is perfect

7. Data Retention

We retain data only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy.

  • Account data: while your account is active, and as needed for legal/compliance purposes
  • Project content and media: until deleted by you or us under our retention/deletion processes
  • Operational logs and billing records: retained as needed for security, accounting, and legal compliance

8. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Subject to applicable law, you may request:

  • Access to personal information we maintain about you
  • Deletion of your account and associated personal information
  • Correction of inaccurate personal information
  • A copy of your personal information, where portable formats are required

We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before fulfilling requests. If applicable law requires a response timeline, we follow that timeline.

9. California Privacy Disclosures

For the prior 12 months, we collected the categories of personal information described in this Policy and disclosed them to service providers for the business purposes described in this Policy.

We do not sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

California residents may exercise applicable rights by contacting contact@hiviolet.ai. Authorized agents may submit requests as permitted by law.

10. Cookies, Local Storage, and Do Not Track

We use cookies and local storage that are reasonably necessary to operate sign-in and session functionality. We may also use local storage for core product preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies for cross-site behavioral advertising.

Because we do not currently perform cross-site behavioral advertising tracking, browser "Do Not Track" signals do not change our data practices at this time.

11. International Transfers

We and our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate transfer mechanisms and safeguards under applicable law.

12. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete data where appropriate.
